Sandy Skotnicki is the founder of Toronto's Bay Dermatology Centre and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, divisions of Dermatology and Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Toronto.
She is also a consultant dermatologist at Toronto's St. Michael's Hospital and the Workers Safety Insurance Board of Ontario, as well as a member of the Occupational Disease Surveillance Program ODSP, where she is responsible for seeing complex Allergic and Occupational skin diseases.
A leading expert in Allergic Skin Disease, she is the best-selling author of the book Beyond Soap, published in 2018 by Penguin Random House in Canada, United States and several European countries.
Her book has been helping the general public better understand skincare ingredients, sensitive skin and the rise in allergic reactions to cosmetics as well as eczema.
